There may be times the database has become corrupted and you want to backup, restore, or regenerate the database. Using the utility provided with cPanel, this can be quickly done through the command line. 

Procedure

cPanel offers the following script to reimport, export, or regenerate the Greylisting database. 

/scripts/setup_greylist_db

Utility to manage the cPanel Greylist service. Available options:

--init => Initialize the SQLite DB with the basic data structure as needed.
--reset => Forceably reset the DB.
Note: This will attempt to preserve the Trusted Hosts List, if the greylisting service is enabled on the server.

--trust => Trust the IPs for the common email services specified. Specify this switch more than once to trust multiple services at the same time.
The following common services are recognized by this script:

--import => [/path/to/json/file]
Imports the Trusted Hosts contained in the specified JSON file:
/scripts/setup_greylist_db --import import.json

--export => Export the current Trusted Hosts List.
To export the list to a file, specify the 'export_to' switch:
/scripts/setup_greylist_db --export --export_to export.json
Or redirect stdout:
/scripts/setup_greylist_db --export > export.json

--update_common_mail_providers => Update the Common Mail Provider data in the database.
Fetches the latest data from a cPanel update mirror, and updates the database
based on current Common Mail Provider configuration.

You can specify '--force', in order to forceably update the IP data in the database.

Hola, pese a tener los datos correctos, usted no puede acceder a su panel de control  con el puerto 2083, eso se debe a que su conexion a internet tiene el puerto 2083 cerrado.

Este puerto puede estar cerrado por varias razones.  pero la más común es Bloqueo del Proxy a los puertos.

Entre ellas tenemos:

- Esta usando un Firewall que bloquea el puerto
- Esta usando una conexion via Proxy que no le permite navegar por el puerto 2082 / 2083
- Algunos Antivirus pueden bloquear este puerto.
- Su router esta configurado para cerrar el puerto.
- Su proveedor de Internet tiene cerrado el puerto. (ISP)

Este problema suele surgir cuando la conexion a internet se realiza atraves de una red, quizas atraves de la red de la empresa
y que se encuentra protegida por algún PROXY

Para solucionar el problema:

Debera contacar con su administrador de red (ISP), o leer los manuales del software (Proxy) que pudiera estar bloqueando el puerto. Si identifica que el problema es de su proveedor de Internet contacte con el para que puedan abrir este puerto para su navegación.

None of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server.

Description 

In Version 68 of cPanel, we introduced new SSL ciphers to increase the security of the mail server; this enables TLS 1.2 and disables older SSL/TLS protocols, such as SSL 3 TLS 1.0. Older operating systems and email clients that do not utilize newer security protocols will be affected by this change.

Please note that this is not a defect or an issue with cPanel, but an incompatibility with the outdated client software. Updating the client software to support TLS 1.2 will help maintain overall security.

Workaround

There are two options to address this issue.

Please note that the second option is not recommended and should only be used if the first option cannot be utilized.

Option 1: (RECOMMENDED)

To enable TLS 1.2 for Windows 7, you will need to patch your system to modify the registry. Be sure your system is fully updated through the update center, then download and install the patch from Microsoft's website.

Enable TLS 1.1 and 1.2 as the default secure protocols.

After the patch is installed, be sure to reboot your local computer to ensure the patch was applied. Once your system is back online, please try to connect to the cPanel server again.

Option 2: (NOT RECOMMENDED ADMIN*)

1. Log into WHM as the 'root' user.
2. Navigate to "Home / Service Configuration / Exim Configuration Manager."
3. Click the "Security" tab.
4. Set the "Allow weak SSL/TLS ciphers" option to "On."
5. Set the "Options for OpenSSL" option to the text box.
6. Enter the following in the textbox.

   +no_sslv2 +no_sslv3

7. Set the "SSL/TLS Cipher Suite List" option to the textbox.
8. Enter the following in the textbox.

11. Scroll down to the "SSL Cipher List" option.
12. Replace the text in the textbox with the following.

13. Change the "SSL Minimum Protocol" option to TLS1.
14. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
15. Click the "Save Changes" button.
16. If the server is a RHEL8-based server, such as AlmaLinux 8, the cryptographic policy must be set to LEGACY.
    1. Access the server's command line as the 'root' user via SSH or "Terminal" in WHM.
    2. Run the following command.

       update-crypto-policies --set LEGACY

       Please note that the server must be rebooted for the policy change to be applied.
